Why Men can Impotence?

Impotence - or not being able to have an erection necessary for sexual intercourse - is common in older men. This can be temporary - and even during sex, such as softening penis before climax - or could become a recurring condition called erectile dysfunction.

Two Types.
Inability to maintain an erection for a sustained period of time may have a physiological origin or psychological, according to a medical service. Although erectile difficulties become more common with age, they are more likely to come from physiological causes in men who are older and 
psychological causes in younger men.

Physiological Causes.
Physiological conditions that can contribute to erectile difficulties are as follows: diseases such as diabetes, high blood pressure, heart conditions, depression, nervous disorders, and poor blood flow. Alcohol, cocaine, nicotine and spinal cord injuries also can reduce the lust of men.

Psychological Causes.
Psychological concerns such as poor communication with a partner, feelings of doubt, stress, fear, anxiety or anger, along with the unrealistic sexual expectations, could make sex to be "a duty and not a pleasure", and contribute to the problem.

Test.
If you are unsure whether your erectile dysfunction is physiological or psychological, you can test it at home. Men usually experience erectile night lasted 30 minutes 3-5 times each, so examine your penis at night is one wise way to determine the cause of your Erectile Dysfunction. Paste a piece of stamps around the shaft of the penis before sleep. In the morning, see if the perforation of stamps have been damaged. If yes, Erectile Dysfunction experienced while awake may have psychological causes.

Impact of Diabetes.
Diabetes Men with diabetes are at very high risk for ED in 10 to 15 years while suffering from this disease, in fact, studies show that the chances of men suffering from Premature Ejaculation develop three to five times if they have diabetes.

The statistics are staggering: Between 35 percent and 50 percent of men with diabetes will experience premature ejaculation.
